Greenbizz hosts Greenlab this year, the former BSE Academy, in a program funded by the Brussels region, offering six months of intensive support to accelerate and consolidate the creation of start-ups. Helping them to deal with the market, offering practical testing of their ideas, and aiding them to make both a practical business plan and a solid financial budget.

This year 15 projects were selected. These projects cover a variety of sectors ranging from textiles to sustainable food, through renewable energies. All have one thing in common: innovation and the desire to develop a more sustainable economic model. A philosophy which fully corresponds to the Greenbizz mission.

On the 9th of November, at the end of the program, the competing teams will pitch their projects to a jury of professionals from the entrepreneurial and environmental fields.

Three prizes will be awarded to the most outstanding projects: the Greenlab prize of three months rent in the Greenbizz incubator, entrance to the Be Angels forum and support from impulse.brussels; the Triodos prize of 2500 euros which will deliver a significant boost to the project leader; and the prize from the press.
